Tour Information: Our standard tours range from 9 to 11 days.  Most tours begin early on day 1 of the tour.  Participants should plan on arriving the night before the start of the tour.  WomenWalkers will happily assist in making arrangements for additional nights both before and at the close of a tour.  Should for any reason participants arrive later than 8AM on the day of the tour, it is their responsibility to make arrangements in meeting up with the group.

Accommodations: WomenWalkers offers a variety of accomodations such as three star hotels, Kibbutz Guest Houses and Youth Hostels and Bedouin tent and outdoor camping.  WomenWalkers will upgrade accomodations for individuals wishing to do so for additional charge.

Maximum group size: 15

Tour price: The price of tours for 2010 is $2950 for shared accomodation and requires a minimum of six (6) individuals. 

Tour price includes: 

  • All accommodations.
  • Half board (breakfast and dinner)
  • An amazing tour guide.
  • Private coach.
  • Entrance fees and all activities as noted in itinerary.

Tour price does not include:

  • Airfare
  • Gratuities
  • Meals not noted on itinerary
  • Travel health Insurance or Travel Insurance
  • Expenses of a personal nature

WomenWalkers Travel highly recommends the purchase of travel insurance in case of unexpected emergency.

This is a hiking tour for active and fit individuals. The level of hiking varies from day to day from moderate to difficult. Anywhere from 2 to 6 or more hours are spent hiking each day. The terrain can vary from flat to hilly and rocky. The individuals who join this tour have varying abilities from beginners to advanced and have found great joy and accomplishment as well as a sense of empowerment having pushed the boundaries beyond their usual limits. Should for any reason we determine that it would be unsafe for a member of the group to participate we reserve the right to refuse participation. In this situation, we will make every effort to ensure that a substitute activity can be made if at all possible.
